    Hi I,m a pensioner on a centreline payment and looking to buy a small caravan , I own my own home ,what are my chances

      Hi John,

      If you’re receiving the Age Pension you might be able to get a loan approved from a lender. It depends how much you’d have to spend each month repaying the loan. If it ‘s a large portion of your Centrelink payments you’ll probably get rejected.

      It also depends on the lender’s own policies around Centrelink payments. I suggest contacting some lenders directly and enquiring first. You’ll probably have more luck with a smaller bank or specialist lender.
