Catch Connect is now OnePass Mobile – What it means for you

Catch Connect has rebranded to OnePass Mobile, but does that mean you get OnePass perks too?
Now that Catch's officially wrapped up its retail business, Catch Connect is getting a fresh start as OnePass Mobile.
Still powered by the Optus network, it's the same provider, just with a new name, a new logo and a fresh website.
I'm an existing Catch Connect customer. Do I have to do anything?
Nothing's changing for you besides receiving communications from OnePass Mobile instead of Catch Connect.
The customer service number will also remain the same - 1300 222 825, and you'll keep recharging the way you do now.
There's also no need to reinstall the app or set up new login details.
You just need to open it, follow the prompts and hit update.

What about new customers?
You'll be able to sign up for OnePass Mobile in much the same way as you would have with Catch Connect.

Why OnePass Mobile?
For anyone unfamiliar with OnePass, it's a membership program with big retailers such as Kmart, Target, Bunnings, Priceline, Officeworks and more.
You pay a $4 monthly fee to get access to benefits such as free delivery, 5x Flybuys points, 365-day returns and express click and collect.
For now, there's no news on whether OnePass Mobile customers will get a free subscription to OnePass, but it feels like a perk that'll be rolled out soon.
It'd be similar to how Everyday Mobile gives customers 10% off their monthly grocery shop at Woolies.
"With OnePass mobile, we now have a unique opportunity to connect more Australians to a seamless, integrated experience across shopping, rewards and mobile. This marks the start of an exciting new chapter," Vir Nath, Head of Challenger Brands, said in a media release.
