We found Australia’s cheapest superfast NBN plan for EOFY 2025

Get blisteringly fast internet from Southern Phone for just $75 a month over 12 months, plus $100 bill credit.
Southern Phone just dropped one of the best-value NBN 250 plans we've seen all year.
Until 30 June 2025, you can score its NBN Superfast plan for just $75 a month over 12 months, plus $100 bill credit if you stay on the plan for at least two months.
That works out to an annual saving of $340.
Southern Phone will also throw in a free eero 6+ router worth $210 if you stay on the plan for 12 months.
After the promotional period ends, prices jump to $95 a month, which remains extremely competitive. (The average price for NBN 250 plans outside of promotions is slightly north of $100 per month.)
You can also score 12-month discounts and bill credit on most of Southern Phone's other plans, from NBN 25 all the way up to NBN 1000.
Here's how much you can save with each plan. (Note: To receive bill credit, you need to sign up before 30 June and stay on the plan until 1 September 2025.)
Plan | Price | Bill credit | Total savings | |
---|---|---|---|---|
NBN Basic (NBN 25) | $45 a month for the first 12 months, then $59 a month ongoing | $50 bill credit | $168 over 12 months | |
NBN Standard (NBN 50) | $79 a month ongoing | $50 bill credit | $50 over 2 months | |
NBN Fast (NBN 100) | $65 a month for the first 12 months, then $89 a month ongoing | $100 bill credit | $388 over 12 months | |
NBN Superfast (NBN 250) | $75 a month for the first 12 months, then $95 a month ongoing | $100 bill credit | $340 over 12 months | |
NBN Ultrafast (NBN 1000) | $85 a month for the first 12 months, then $105 a month ongoing | $100 bill credit | $240 over 12 months |
With the exception of the NBN 50 plan (which curiously, is only offering $50 bill credit), these are all pretty good deals for the speeds being offered.
If you live in an area that supports NBN 250, Southern Phone NBN Ultrafast is the plan to get.
It's currently the most affordable NBN 250 plan on the market, especially if you stick with the plan for the full year.
The majority of NBN promotions only last for 6 months, so you're essentially getting the discount for twice as long.
All plans are month-to-month, meaning you can cancel at any time. There are also no setup fees.
